Shuttle Service

Announcement!!!!

Yamba Airport Transfers will be closing the shuttle service from 01/05/2025 to 01/11/2025. In the mean time, we are always available for private transfers.

When operating, the shuttle bus departs Yamba around 0930 (depending on the number of bookings) and will ensure passengers arrive on time for JQ459 and VA1140

The bus will remain at Ballina Airport to assist passengers arriving on JQ458 (Arriving at 11:40) and VA1139 (Arriving at 12:05).

Our goal is to make the journey as affordable as possible. A brand new, top-of-the-line, 12-seat Toyota Hiace has been purchased to allow for a comfortable experience to and from Ballina.

Singles: $110
Doubles: $150

The service runs 7 days a week and can be booked here. Some dates are locked out for other activities. If you require a date that is not available, and you have 3 or more passengers, please contact us and we will be able to assist.

It is intended the service will operate daily from the commencement of the summer school holidays until the end of the Easter school holidays.

Our policy

Conditions for Pickup

The shuttle leaves from either a bus stop or your home address. A pickup from your home address within Yamba, Angourie or Palmers island will attract an additional $10 fee per booking. Pickups from Maclean, Gulmarrad, and Townsend are available for an additional $50, payable at the time of pickup. Guests from other areas can be picked up or dropped off from Harwood Bridge.

Booking Regulations

To comply with regulations from the Point to Point Transport Commission, you must book the service in advance.

Flight Delay Policy

If flights arriving into Ballina are delayed (beyond 1 hour after the scheduled arrival time), the shuttle service may not be able to wait. In such cases, your booking will be completely refunded, and we can assist in making alternate arrangements (using a private transfer service, etc.), but the customer will need to fund this service.

Early Arrival Policy

As this shuttle services two inbound flights to Ballina, passengers who arrive early will be required to wait until the second flight arrives before the shuttle departs. This wait could be up to 1 hour past the scheduled arrival time, as per Condition 3.

Booking Timing Policy

Bookings must be made by 6pm the night before your expected travel date. If you require a booking after this time, please text message 0422159666. We will do our best to accommodate you however there is no guarantee the service will be available if you book after this time.

Message Policy

Our drivers will send out a bulk message the night before your travel dates with the all addresses and pickup times. Please be ready at the associated pickup time, the service may not be able to wait.

Additional Information

We sincerely hope that this service is heavily utilized by the community and our tourism industries for it to remain viable. If the shuttle bus timings are not appropriate for your journey, please utilise our private transportation services and we will work to your schedule.
